AHA: RESOLUTION ON CONSERVATION

WHEREAS the appreciation of nature is a significant element in the Humanist viewpoint; and

WHEREAS the conservation of natural resources is of great importance to man’s well-being;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that The American Humanist Association actively support movements for conservation and for preservation of natural beauty, as well as those on behalf of national, state, and municipal parks, and wilderness, natural and wildlife areas.
