AHA’s Development Director Maggie Ardiente spoke on atheist and humanist discrimination abroad at the 2nd Annual International Religious Freedom Panel on Capitol Hill. In attendance were members of Congress, the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, and the U.S. State Dept. Office of International Religious Freedom. Maggie stated, “We’re all nonbelievers to religions other than our own. Atheists and humanists support the freedom to believe, and not to believe.”
