The American Humanist Association is pleased to see that the Student Non-Discrimination Act has been reintroduced by Senator Al Franken and is included in the Strengthening America’s Schools Act of 2013 that was recently introduced by Senator Tom Harkin.
The AHA will continue to advocate for bills like SNDA that work to stop discrimination against students because of their actual or perceived sexual orientation or gender identity.
